These are practical questions about Hood Warfare 2, the Windows game by Trapstar Games on Steam. Each answer says whether it comes from the studio or from players.

I went through the store text, patch 1.0.10, the official Discord invite, and the titles of early Steam discussions on 13 October 2026. Where the studio has spoken, I use that. Where only players have spoken, I say so. I do not have a private fix from support.

How to read these answers

Steam had on the order of 168 discussion topics in the first days. The list moves. If a bug is not in patch 1.0.10, assume it is still a player report. The support address printed on the store page is trapstargames@protonmail.com.

Questions

Where is the Hood Warfare Discord?

The invite that resolved on 13 October 2026 is https://discord.gg/QMvfyX37X6. The server name was Hood Warfare. At 08:16 UTC the invite returned about 2,668 members. That count will change.

Is there proximity chat?

Patch 1.0.10 added voice for everyone in the server and for your team, with push-to-talk on T by default and an open-mic option. The note does not use the words “proximity chat,” so I will not claim distance-based voice.

Why can’t I connect?

“Can’t connect” and refund notes about peer-to-peer hosting are player threads. The studio has not published the network model. Patch 1.0.10 does not list a connection rewrite.

Why is the lobby full of bots?

The store says you can add bots to fill teams. Players also reported public matches filled with bots. Both can be true. There is no published bot-ratio setting.

The game crashes or has no audio. Is that fixed?

Players reported instant crashes and missing or blasting audio. Patch 1.0.10 lists bug fixes but does not name audio or startup crashes specifically. Update first, then write trapstargames@protonmail.com if it continues.

My level reset. What happened?

Players reported a reset-to-level-one glitch. The 1.0.10 notes mention a progression-display fix. I cannot see your account from here.

Will zombies come back?

Zombies is a 2023 mode. It is not among the six Hood Warfare 2 modes. A Steam thread asks for it. No studio answer was in the news feed as of 13 October 2026.

Is the player count fake?

The Steam Web API returned 2,667 concurrent players at 2026-10-13 08:16 UTC. Differences between samples may reflect timing or caching; a pair of snapshots does not establish the cause or prove a claim about a counter.
