Hood Warfare (2023) modes

These modes belong to Hood Warfare (2023, Steam app 2274510) by Trapstar Games, the Detroit game still labeled Early Access. They are not the six Chicago modes in Hood Warfare 2.

Source checks

We checked the store description against the complete official news feed on 13 October 2026. The August 2023 Project Baby note introduced Drive-By at six kills. The newer 26 June 2024 patch, v0.22, explicitly sets its cost to five kills. The 25 June 2023 v0.18 patch adds Gun Game. These historical changes belong to app 2274510 and must not be copied into the sequel.

Multiplayer modes

Gang Warfare is round-based with one life each round. Turf War scores held territory. Chaos is free-for-all. Gangbang is the Bloods-versus-Crips kill race. The 3 Gang variant adds Vatos. Gun Game, added in v0.18 on 25 June 2023, starts with a pistol and advances weapons every three kills; the first final-weapon shank kill wins. Quick Play appears in the 19 December 2025 v0.25 headline as a route into matches, not a new ruleset.

Drive-By killstreak

The 26 June 2024 v0.22 patch sets Drive-By to five kills. Its 2023 introduction used six kills and listed Southside, The Streets, The Suburbs and Downtown. It calls in an armored lowrider with a mounted gun. The December 2024 Cripmas post also describes a seasonal Santa-sled drive-by. None of these original-game costs establishes a killstreak rule for Hood Warfare 2.

Questions

Does Hood Warfare 2 use these modes?

Some names overlap (Turf War, Chaos, GangBang) but the sequel’s list is its own six modes, set in Chicago, with no Drive-By line on the store page.

Are there other killstreaks?

The notes I read only document Drive-By for the 2023 game. I will not add dog streaks or air support from other shooters.
